St. Petersburg Catherine Palace
Catherine Palace  - UNESCO World Heritage
The rococo palace, constructed 1752 - 1756, was a residence of the Russian tsars. It is located in the town of Tsarskoye Selo (Pushkin), 25 km south-east of St. Petersburg.The 325-meter-long palace, was ordered by empress Elisabeth and replaced the former residence of her mother, Catherine I of Russia. 
The palace is also home of the reconstructed Amber Room.
