Albrechtsburg - Banqueting Hall

After the porcelain factory had moved to its new home in the city's downtown in 1863, the castle was elaborately restored for its use as museum. From 1873 - 1885 eleven artists from the academy of arts at Dresden decorated the rooms with numerous statues and sculptures as well as 25 history paintings, related to the castle's history and the dynasty of princes.
